GloFish Aquarium Set Up Part 1 LED Lights

You should have bought more gravel because as the directions stayed the gravel has to be 2″-3″ thick. Also, it would have been a lot easier to put in the plants and decorations before you put in the water. Also, you should have waited to put in the water conditioner until the tank was all set up.

I think you are probably right Dirt2Purple, BUT.. they should make it clear that those are not black lights. Two advantages of black lights is that they don’t illuminate things that are not glowing – making the glowing things stand out more. Also, the black lights kill off bacteria which helps keep the tanks clear instead of cloudy. There’s plenty of bacteria in the filters and gravel to do what they need to do, excessive bacteria is one of the reasons for cloudy water.
